As a Positivity Project school, we focus on empowering our students to build positive relationships and to understand, appreciate, and exemplify the character strengths in us all. We are committed to taking proactive steps to help all students recognize their potential and importance. We will have an adjusted bell schedule and guest speaker on November 19th.
Mr. John Halligan will present to HMS students to relay his own tragic experience as a Dad whose thirteen-year-old son took his own life in 2003 after incessant bullying by peers both in school and online. His story is riveting and powerful and reminds students that there is a face, a person, and a heart on the other end of the screen. More information can be found here. Opt out forms can be found on the HMS website.
