Impact Aid Forms
Today, your child was given an Impact Aid form to take home for parents/guardians to complete. Impact Aid is a federal formula grant program that provides funding for school districts based on the number of federally-connected students that attend. Fairfax County mandates that we have 100% response to the Impact Aid form. Please complete and return the Impact Aid Form by October 26th.
Digital Citizenship Week
Digital Citizenship Week is October 15-19! Students receive instruction on Digital Citizenship throughout the year and are expected to be model online citizens at school and at home. This week is a great time for families to talk about Digital Citizenship at home and make plans for technology use. Find resources to get the conversation started on the FCPS website!
Bingo Night
Bingo Night is Friday, October 19! Pizza, chips, and drinks will be on sale starting at 6 p.m. Bingo will start at 7 p.m. There are great prizes lined up! All proceeds go to the 5th grade class for their field trip fund.
Storybook Pumpkin Festival
The annual Storybook Pumpkin Festival has begun in the Belvedere Library! All students are invited to celebrate great books by decorating pumpkins as storybook characters. Pumpkins will be displayed in the library from October 15—October 31. Find the instructions for submitting a pumpkin on our website.
