Olde Creek Bears Care Community Outreach Program

Olde Creek Elementary is pleased to kick off the second year of our Olde Creek Bears Care Community Outreach Program!  The primary focus of Bears Care is to provide weekend food provisions to students in need in our school community. These students typically receive free or reduced priced meals during school days, which for many are the only meals they may receive.

To make this program successful, WE NEED YOUR HELP!  We will be requesting food donations on a weekly basis through Sign-Up Genius.  Food donations can be dropped off at Olde Creek's Front Office during regular office hours.  Food bags will then be packed on Fridays for students to take home for weekend food support. For this week, we are pre-collecting food items to stock up our food pantry while this year's list and number of families are being finalized.  If you are interested in donating food items this week, please click the link below to sign-up. Thank you!

PTA Directory

The PTA is preparing a student directory again this year! This year, the directory will contain the following information for each family: students’ names, grades, and teacher assignments and parents’ names and email addresses. If you want this information to be included, you don’t need to do anything now, but watch for information about verifying your data in October. You will have a chance to add other information such as address and phone number at that time. If you don’t want your information included, you may opt out by contacting the PTA by October 12. To opt out, please return the opt-out form that is being sent home, or contact the PTA by sending email to oldecreekptadirectory@googlegroups.com  including the students' and parents' names and indicating that you wish to opt out of the directory.
