Dear Parents of Freshmen:
We are so happy to have you and your children as part of our TJ Colonials Family! The opening weeks have been very rewarding and our new students are making friends, enjoying the school and establishing routines.
Here are some quick reminders related to events occurring as we've come back to school this fall:
- If you attended Back to School Night on September 12, please give us your feedback on this quick survey.
- Chat with administrators, representative faculty, and TJ alumni at the Annual Open House Reception for Freshman Parents hosted by the TJ Partnership Fund. This Sunday, September 23, 3 p.m.-5 p.m. Location: 2113 Westmoreland Street, Falls Church, VA. Refreshments and light fare will be served. RSVP here.
- Put the 10th Annual Back to School Bash on your calendar for September 28 at 4:30 p.m.! This is a rescheduled date. Hosted by the PTSA, SGA and the Office of Student Activities, the Bash will have music, games and food trucks available at 4:30 with the football game to follow at 7 p.m. This is a great opportunity to relax, socialize with faculty members
and students, show your spirit, and support the Colonials to victory.
All of these Back to School events are great ways to informally meet other parents, establish relationships with teachers and have fun!
Please pop in to the reception and bash, even if just for a few minutes. We look forward to seeing you!
