Dr. Stephen Jones, new CEO of Inova, the region’s leading healthcare system, will headline the State of Education Luncheon in November. Inova not only serves more than 2 million people annually, but is an important community partner with FCPS through its relationship with the Governor’s Health Sciences Academies at both West Potomac Academy and Falls Church High School. Dr. Jones came to Inova after serving as President of the Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals and Family Health Centers.

The State of Education Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, November 27, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Fairview Park Marriott. Over 350 guests are expected to be in attendance to hear from Dr. Jones, FCPS Superintendent Dr. Scott Brabrand, emcee Leon Harris of NBC4, and congratulate the Business and Community Partners of the Year.

Information about sponsorships and ticket sales can be found on the Foundation's website. Proceeds from the luncheon support the Foundation's #SOAR Teacher Grant program. Single ticket prices rise after September 27, so get yours today!

Donor Corner: Tysons Partnership

September marks the 3rd annual #SeasonofGiving with the Tysons Partnership. Among other initiatives, they are collecting funds to provide new shoes to FCPS students in need in seven (7) elementary schools. Last year, they collected 1,000 pairs of shoes, and are looking to top that this year!

If you'd like more information on the Tysons Partnership or #TysonsCares, please visit their website.
