Back to School Night Thank You
We would like to send a big thank you out to all of our parents and families who attended our Back to School Night event on Wednesday. It was a great way to get the school year started and our staff was energized by the positive connections that they made with all of you. Woodson Football Feeder Night - September 14
The Woodson Activities Department would like to invite all of our Olde Creek students and families to their Annual Feeder Night Football game on Friday September 14, 2018!
Olde Creek students will get to represent their school and run across the football field before the game. The Friday night football game vs. Yorktown will start at 7:00 PM and students should plan to meet at 6:30 PM near the scoreboard. Please wear your best Olde Creek spirit wear.
A flyer for free student admission will be sent home in Friday Folders and is also available at the bottom of this email.
Laps for Learning is Coming! - September 22
Laps For Learning, Olde Creek's biggest fundraiser is Sat. Sept 22, 2018. Check-in will begin at 7:30 AM and the event will start at 8 AM. More information about the event is available at http://oldecreekpta.org/laps-for-learning/ Join the fun as students are cheered on by parents and staff as they walk/run the 5k loop around the school.

Breakfast for All at Olde Creek - September 13
A complimentary breakfast from FCPS Food and Nutrition Services will be available in our cafeteria to all students on the morning of Thursday, September 13.

OCES 2018-2019 Room Parents
The Olde Creek PTA is organizing room parents for this school year – please consider volunteering for your child(ren)s class! As Room Parent, your main responsibility is to plan and execute two class parties (Winter party in December and End-of-Year party in June). Also, you may be asked to send a few emails to classroom parents to remind them of school events such as fundraisers, Teacher Appreciation Week or Art Walk. Thank you for considering!
