Dear Families,
In our efforts to
keep you well informed, we want to let you know that we have been experiencing
some problems with our air conditioning (AC) system. The AC system has not been
running to its fullest capacity which has resulted in warmer temperatures in
the building. These problems have impacted the second floor more than our first
floor. The Fairfax County Public Schools HVAC technicians and supervisors have
been on site daily to monitor and make repairs to the system. Due to repairs that have been made thus far,
the classroom temperatures are cooler today. We are keeping a close
eye on students and are making adjustments as needed including moving classes
that become too warm into alternative locations. We hope to have a fully functional system very soon.
