1.       We are off to a great start as we welcomed 835 students to school this week!!

2.      Arrival Procedures

Arrival every morning begins at 9 AM.  Please do not drop off your children early! 

3.     Dismissal Procedures

  • Dismissal begins every day at 4:05 pm and if parents are picking up students in their cars they must join the kiss and ride line. 
  • K walkers must be met at Door 2.  Grades 1-6 Walkers exit from main entrance.
  • It is not permissible to park in the parking lot and then walk up and find your children. 
  • Cars begin lining up rather early (sometimes around 3:30) so plan accordingly. 
  • Kindergarten students who walk must be dismissed to the adult who has the Kiss and Ride duty at Door #2. 
  • Parents must have their blue card with the student number to pick up from Door #2. Students should enter cars on the passenger side only. Drivers are asked to remain in their cars and should not ever leave their car unattended. 
  • Only buses are to use the bus lane.

4.     Forms:  Please return all of the paperwork for your child that includes their emergency care cards as soon as possible.  Watch for paperwork each week on Wednesday in the white folder.

Upcoming Events:

·         Labor Day Holiday, Monday, September 3rd ---School is Closed

·         3 Hour Early Release Day, Wednesday, September 19th ---students will be dismissed at 1:05 PM

·         First PTA meeting, Wednesday, September 19th at 7 PM in the school library

·         Back to School Night on Thursday, September 20th from 6 PM- 8 PM
