New Assistant Principal for Poe!

We are excited to announce that we have added Assistant Principal Ms. Angela Elsisi to our administrative team!  Angela comes to us from Kilmer Middle School where she has served for ten years in the capacity of English teacher, Dean of Students, Assessment Coach, and Interim Assistant Principal.  She is known to all as a relationship builder and collaborator with parents, students, and staff.  Also, she is an expert on data gathering and analysis, as well as working with teams of teachers to support students “by name and by need.”  She has been instrumental in supporting her school’s School Improvement & Innovation Plan in identifying strategies for closing the gap and raising the bar.

In an email sent by her current principal to the staff announcing her promotion, he stated, “Angela knows what she stands for and is not shy about demonstrating her passion for high level achievement for all students.”

Staff Kick-Off Breakfast Donations:

Poe’s PTSA is sponsoring a breakfast on August 20th to welcome the staff as we kick-off the 2018-19 school year!  Food and monetary donations can be dropped off into the main office on August 16th between the hours of 7:30 – 3:30 or August 17th between the hours of 7:30 – 10:30 am.  Over the weekend of August 18 & 19, donations may be dropped off at the Krason’s home.  If you are willing to assist in any way, please contact Crystal Krason at 740-629-4301 or crystalmkrason@hotmail.com
