Dear Franconia Elementary School Parent,

We hope you and your family are enjoying the summer.

This August, Franconia Elementary School is proudly participating in Safeway Foundation’s second annual School Spirit fundraising campaign.

Safeway Foundation and our local Safeway store at 299 Van Dorn Street will be collecting monetary donations on behalf of Franconia Elementary School. All campaign funds raised at this store from August 1-31 will be donated to our school.

We are publicizing the campaign to help increase awareness and donations, and we’re in good company! To help spread the word, Safeway Foundation and Safeway are partnering with Washington’s WTTG-FOX 5, Baltimore’s WBAL-TV 11, radio stations WPGC 95.5 FM, El Zol 107.9 FM and Fresh FM 94.7, The Washington Informer newspaper, D.C. United and The Baltimore Ravens.

We hope you’ll join us by showing your school spirit and donating at our local Safeway.
