This is a reminder!
Spring Sports Awards Night is Monday, June 4th in
the Main Gymnasium to celebrate the accomplishments of our sports teams and
the achievements of our individual athletes. Refreshments and desserts will be
served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the presentation of the team awards at 7:00
p.m. At the conclusion of the team awards all teams will
breakout to individual locations to present the coaches awards.
Please note: We ask that parents and athletes park in the
back of the building and enter the building at entrance #9. The main
hallway at entrance #9 is next to Gym II and will allow direct
access to the main Gymnasium.
The Office of Student Activities Staff and Coaches look forward to seeing you

Parents and Class of 2022 Athletes
The Office of Student Activities cordially invites you to our Freshman
Sports Preview Night on Wednesday, June 6th 7pm in the TJ Auditorium. . This
is a great opportunity to meet the Student Activities Staff and learn more
about the TJ Athletic Program. Coaches of Fall, Winter and Spring seasons will
be available to answer any questions you have about their individual programs.
Thomas Jefferson supports 19 different varsity and sub-varsity sports.
This also great opportunity learn about the TJ Athletes Program and how you can
support the mission of the Colonial Athletic Boosters. The Colonial
Athletic Boosters are currently looking for more parent volunteers to join
our TJ Colonial Athletics Boosters team. Responsibilities include
organizing team liaisons and volunteers for athletic events and to raise funds
for the TJ Athletic Program.

information below in regard to signing up for your VHSL Physical.
Before Freshman Preview Night. Our Athletic Trainer, Heather Murphy will be scheduling VHSL Sports Physical Examinations from 4:30-6:30pm. Students and parents will then transition to the main gymnasium to meet our Coaches
ALL PHYSICALS MUST BE COMPLETED ON THE FEBRUARY 2017 versions! Download one from the www.colonialathletics.org website under files and links.
The physical is $50 for pre-registered students and $60 for walk-ins (taken after 6pm on space available basis) and all money goes to support TJ Athletic Training! Ms. Murphy tended to over 750 injuries and did over 3000 treatments this past year. FCPS Athletic Trainers get $0 from the county for supplies. Email Heather.Murphy@fcps.edu for any questions.
