As we begin to approach the end of the school year, we could use your help. We ask that you help your child search at home for any missing and overdue library books and return those immediately to our school library. Thanks very much for your assistance.
We had a wonderful time at the Flip Flop Hop this past Friday. Despite the weather, we enjoyed ice cream and everyone had a fun time dancing! Thanks to our PTA for sponsoring this beloved annual event!
We hope everyone has a restful and fun Memorial Day weekend! Let’s all hope for sunshine and a reprieve from the rain!

Stretching and flexibility exercises for our Stenwood Students and families -

Stretching Exercises
Simple stretches should be a regular part of kids' physical activity routine. Before or after a sports practice or a long bike ride, before bed, or anytime your child's muscles feel tense or tight, encourage them to try some easy stretches.
Hold each stretch for about 20 seconds at the point of tension or tightness—not pain—and repeat a few times (switching legs and arms as needed). Do not bounce in the stretch, and don't forget to breathe.

Please don't forget to pick up all medication from our health room before the last day of school, June 15, Friday by 12:00pm. Medication cannot be sent home with your student. Reminder from the Library -
“It’s that time of year again. We need to collect all overdue library books. Last week more than 100 students had overdue books. ALL library books are due back to the library on June 1st. Please help your students look for their books. Student who do not have anything overdue are able to continue checking out until May 30th. Again, ALL library books are due back to the library on June 1st. Thank you!

Lost & Found
Last day to pick up your children's lost items from the cafeteria is June 15th, the last day of school.

Yearbooks are sold online this year; they can be purchased for $16.25 using a credit card, debit card or PayPal account. Yearbooks and ordered options will be delivered directly to the school. Deadline is May 25th, 2018.
