Olde
Creek Families,
I
want to provide all of you with an update on the paving project that is taking
place in the neighborhood surrounding our school.
Paving
is currently taking place today on several of the streets near the school. This
may cause some traffic delays and you may want to allow a little extra travel
time when you come to Olde Creek during the next several days.
During the day tomorrow
(Friday), paving will be taking place directly in front of the school on Old
Creek Drive. This
means that there will be no street parking available in front of the school. We
have been informed that the actual paving work will only take place in between
9:30 – 2:00 each day, which should help with Arrival and Dismissal time, but
will not help the parking situation.
We
will be in communication with you as we get more information, but for now,
please try to help minimize traffic by having your students take their assigned
bus or walk if possible. If you need to drop off or pick your child up
using Kiss & Ride, please allow plenty of time in your travel
schedule. If we need to adjust any of our practices related to arrival,
dismissal, and parking due to this project we will let you know as we gather
more information.
