“Make A Great Break” Reading Challenge: Back by Popular Demand

Students were encouraged to enjoy reading over Spring Break and complete an optional challenge to make, draw or build something they have read and take a picture of their creation. Students who return a photo by April 12th to Carolyn Dean or Lisa Rode will be included in an upcoming Kings Glen after school MakerSpace celebration.

Donations Needed for the KG Makerspace

We are in the process of growing a school MakerSpace in the Kings Glen Library and need your help in gathering more building materials for our students. Materials will be used by our student builders during library and classroom lessons. Donations can be brought to Lisa Rode.

Donation ideas: paper towel rolls, popsicle sticks, fabric pieces, pom-poms, felt, duct tape, Legos, ribbon, tissue paper, etc.
