this year remains the same at $18. Payments and order forms can be submitted to the front office.

“Make A
Great Break” Reading Challenge: Back by Popular Demand
Students were encouraged to enjoy reading over Spring Break and complete
an optional challenge to make, draw or
build something they have read and take a picture of their creation. Students who return a photo by April 12th to Carolyn Dean or Lisa Rode will be included in an
upcoming Kings Glen after school MakerSpace celebration.

Donations
Needed for the KG Makerspace
We are in the process of growing a school MakerSpace in the Kings Glen Library and need your help in gathering more building materials for our students. Materials
will be used by our student builders during library and classroom lessons. Donations can be brought to Lisa Rode.
Donation ideas: paper towel rolls, popsicle sticks, fabric pieces, pom-poms, felt, duct tape, Legos, ribbon, tissue paper, etc.
Parents of rising 7th
graders
In August, Lake Braddock will be hosting a one-day JumpStart program aimed at helping your rising 7th grader become more familiar with Lake Braddock Secondary
School. Sessions will be offered during the week of Monday, August 13th through Thursday, August 16th from 9 am-2 pm in August. Registration opens April 3. Register now... this program fills up fast!

Lake Braddock Pyramid Art Show
Friday, April 6, 6-8 PM
Please join us for the Lake Braddock Pyramid Art Show,
Friday, April 6th. Our theme this year is '80s Retro. The
evening show will feature artwork from the Lake Braddock Pyramid schools
(including Kings Glen), and is open to the community from 6-8pm, in the Lake
Braddock Main Gym. Hope to see you there!

Raising Healthy & Resilient Children
April 5 & April 9, 6:30-8 pm
The Lake Braddock Pyramid is excited to welcome back, by
popular demand, parenting specialist Rachel Bailey on April 5th and April 9th (snow date) for workshops aimed at raising healthy and resilient children. It is a free event for parents and will be held at Lake Braddock's Little Theatre.
