Oak Hill’s Student Services Department is pleased to announce our fourth annual Stress Less, Laugh More Week starting April 3rd!
Our goal is to emphasize the importance of a healthy lifestyle and to teach our students positive strategies to deal with stressful moments. Each day will have a different theme with fun activities and will conclude with a school-wide PAJAMA DAY! Back by popular demand, we will also have therapy dogs on site for interested classrooms to visit. This is a great week to promote stress management, positive relationships, and help-seeking for all of our students.
Thank you for your support,
Kimberly Gallagher, Cammy McCleskey, Ginny Phinney, and Christy Ryder

FCPS is on a journey to enhance learning through FCPSOn, a 1-to-1 digital transformation. The term 1:1 means each student will have access to one device to use for learning.
FCPSOn extends student learning and increases equitable access to technology and instructional practices that lead to personalized, meaningful learning experiences which provide opportunities for deeper understanding and development of Portrait of a Graduate attributes. The FCPS Strategic Plan Ignite includes access to contemporary and effective technology as a component of the Student Success goal.
Learn more about FCPSOn and how it supports the Portrait of a Graduate and Ignite Strategic Plan goals by attending the one of five community meetings. All meetings will begin at 7 p.m. To request an interpreter, please click on Interpreter Request Form
The Region 5 community meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Chantilly High School.
Our fundraiser with Original Works is just
around the corner! You are going to have the opportunity to order a variety of
useful items, all professionally made and featuring your child's very own
artwork. There are fun products under $10. Complete details will be coming
home in the April 4th Wednesday folder. Please consider helping support our school.
Come out and support our school by running the annual Oak Hill

t-shirt if registered before April 20th. Early
registration ends Friday, April 6th.
Check out the online registration website here for more information,

Spring is almost here and we will be ready to begin spring clean-up/planting in our Oak Hill garden! We are in need of parent volunteers who would be able to help with planting, watering, weeding, etc. throughout the spring, summer, and fall. If you are interested in volunteering or want more information about this wonderful opportunity to be a part of a great learning experience for our Oak Hill students and families, please email Jane Wheeler at jgwheeler@fcps.edu.
