It
is time to get your Kings Glen 2017-2018 school yearbook. Yearbooks can be preordered online (school code 13277218) through Friday, March 23rd at midnight. The cost
this year remains the same at $18, with no additional online fees. Use
the online system and reserve your student’s yearbook to be delivered in June. Order forms for cash and check payments were sent home in the March 13 Tuesday folders.

 “Make A
Great Break” Reading Challenge: Back by Popular Demand
Students are encouraged to enjoy reading over Spring Break and may also complete
an optional challenge in next week’s take home folders where they make, draw or
build something they have read and then take a picture of their creation.
Students who return a photo by April 12th will be included in an
upcoming Kings Glen after school MakerSpace celebration. Contact Carolyn
Dean or Lisa Rode with any questions.

 Lake Braddock Pyramid Art Show
Friday, April 6, 6-8 PM
Please join us for the Lake Braddock Pyramid Art Show,
Friday, April 6th. Our theme this year is '80s Retro. The
evening show will feature artwork from the Lake Braddock Pyramid schools
(including Kings Glen), and is open to the community from 6-8pm, in the Lake
Braddock Main Gym. Hope to see you there!

Talk to Your Child about Internet Safety
Guidance lessons this month in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades focused on responsible use of the internet and internet safety.
Many of our students use computers, tablets, and personal cell phones to access academic work, and it is increasingly becoming a part of their social communication. Please talk with your child about their use of technology and their “digital footprint.”
