Is your child turning 5 on or before September 30th?
If so, we would like to welcome your child to Kindergarten for the 2018-2019
school year. This is an important year for you and your child. In preparation
for Kindergarten, we invite you to attend Kindergarten registration on Monday,
April 9th, at 9:00 a.m. in the Dogwood library. You will have the
opportunity to meet Dogwood’s Kindergarten teachers who will share “A Day in
the Life of Kindergarten”.
During Kindergarten registration, our school registrar will
be available to assist you with the registration process. Please plan to bring
the following documents with you:

Your child’s original birth certificate
·
Proof of residency (rental contract, lease, or
deed)
·
Immunization records
·
Physical (must be within 12 months of August
28, 2018)
Students in grades 3-6 take Standards of Learning tests
each year, as required by state law. Student results are distributed to parents
and guardians after each testing window.
