After a wonderful winter break, January will be filled with lots of opportunities for reflection. This month we will focus on our fifth learner profile attribute; reflective.
As reflective individuals we:
*think about our strengths and weaknesses in order to keep learning and growing
Here are some ideas to promote the attribute of reflective at home:
Reflect with your child about their day at school.
*What is something he/she is proud of that they did during the day?
*What is something he/she would have done differently?
Set personal goals with your child.
*What is something he/she would like to work on or learn how to do?
*Determine some steps that can be taken to accomplish this goal
December 18-January 1: Winter Break- School and office closed
January 2: Regular day of school for students and staff
January 11: PTO Meeting 7:00 pm
January 12: Level IV Parent Referrals due to AART, Jean Wyche
January 15: Martin Luther King's Birthday-Student Holiday
