 KGES Character Strengths
Being very intentional to focus on our students’ character development, as well as their academic learning, we have added an outstanding resource to our work this year, called the Positivity Project.
One “character strength” is featured each week. It is highlighted in your child’s morning meeting each day and in our “thought for the day” that Mr. Elson shares immediately prior to our moment of silence, following the Pledge of Allegiance. Enjoy discussing this week's Character Strength with your children at home!

 Fall Picture Retakes
Thursday, November 30th
If you purchased pictures and would like to have your child's picture retaken, please bring the entire purchased picture package to the school on Picture Retake Day, November 30 for a replacement picture and picture package. If your student was absent on the original picture day, an order form will be sent home for ordering a picture package.

AAP Referral Forms
If you are interested in applying for the Level IV Center (Keene Mill ES), please hand in referral forms and supporting documents by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12th, 2018. Materials may be dropped off at the front office, to the classroom teacher, or to Mrs. Agner. No late materials can be accepted!
Level III referrals (part time services provided here at Kings Glen) may also be handed in at any time before June 1, 2018.

Scholastic Book Fair Loose Change Drive: Loose change may be placed in our “All for Books” box located in the main office through November 21 to purchase books for students with economic need.
