for Class Placement - New Online Form this Year
We would like to
ask for your input as we work determine the appropriate educational environment
for your child in the 2017-2018 school year. Using the link below, we invite
you to share information about your child’s. Please know that it is optional
for you to complete this form.

You may consider
listing your child’s strengths, areas for growth, and motivators as well as the
characteristics of the classroom structure that you feel will best meet your
child’s needs.
We work
diligently to consider all aspects of your child when thinking about class placement.
Please know that we cannot honor requests for specific teachers.
The deadline for submissions will be June 2, 2017 and
paper copies of this form will not be sent home this year. Submissions of
parent input from current families after this time will not be considered
during the class placement process. Please feel free to contact the school with
any questions.
Frost Summer Programs
There are two upcoming summer programs open to all students
who will be enrolled in 7th grade at Frost Middle School next year.
Lift Off Program
Registration
for Frost Falcon Lift Off Program is now open! This program will take
place on August 10 and is open to all rising 7th grade students who
will be attending Frost next year. Students will have the opportunity to
participate in school orientation activities such as tours of the school,
practice opening lockers, discussion of middle school procedures, and a Q&A
sessions with teachers and counselors. Students may sign up for one of
two sessions on August 10: 8:00am-11:00am OR 12:00pm-3:00pm.
There is no cost to this program, but parents must provide transportation to
and from Frost. If interested, please register your student using the

Confirmation
of registration will be sent out in June. If you have any questions or

7th
Grade Orientation
The
7th Grade Orientation will take place on August 24th
from 9-11am. During the orientation students will receive their schedules, have an opportunity
to walk through their class schedule, and meet their teachers.
The morning is for students only. However, students and
parents are invited to come that afternoon from 1-3pm for self-guided tours
to practice walking the student’s schedule and opening their locker. More
information will be sent regarding this event in the summer, but please mark
your calendars!
