Dear Families and Friends,
Today, our focus is on the arts at
Cunningham Park, as there is much to celebrate!
Our young creative ones have been featured recently in an art show and a
musical, and we will celebrate more with our annual Family Fine Arts Night a
little over a week from now.
The week before Spring Break,
Madison High School hosted its annual art show, featuring work by students from
all surrounding schools. As always, the
artistic talent of students from around the pyramid blew us away, and CPES was
well represented! We extend our congratulations
to our students featured below. Their
work was displayed at the art show, and their pieces were highlighted in the
last Cardinal’s Message before Spring Break.
This morning, and again this afternoon
and evening, we are treated to “The Jungle Book,” Cunningham Park’s first play
in memory! Our brave students performed fantastic shows for the school, and we are excited this evening's show for parents and friends. We invite you to join us this evening at 6:00
to enjoy the musical and celebrate our talented performers.
And on Wednesday, May 3rd,
we invite you to Family Fine Arts Night at 6:30-8:00. The evening features elements from many of
our creative programs: art displays throughout the halls, jump rope routines,
and our chorus concert and poetry readings both brought together for a
wonderful performance. Please plan to
join us for this amazing celebration of creativity.
We hope to see you this evening for
“The Jungle Book." Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Katie Le, Principal and Kat Ngo,
Assistant Principal
