Many volunteers are needed for the library  Scholastic Buy-One-Get-One-Free Book Fair held on May 1-5.  Get more information HERE.


Kings Glen will be observing April as the Month of the Military Child. 

Since 1986, this designation has been intended to recognize and thank children from military families.

Kings Glen will be observing this month in the following ways:

           Mondays in April will be Military Monday.  KG students are invited to dress as a favorite branch of service (no hats or weapons, of course).

AFTERSCHOOL Garden Club to start at Kings Glen

Kings Glen students have an opportunity to participate in a garden program called "GENERATIONS GARDENING TOGETHER".  The program is being organized by the Springfield Acres Garden Club, a member of National Capital Area Garden Clubs, Inc.  There is no cost and the students will receive all necessary supplies needed and learn basic gardening skills.  Included in this program will be 7 meetings for the students to attend.  SPACE IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 20 STUDENTS THAT REGISTER.  for more information click here
