Olde Creek Weekly Update
We wish all of our Olde Creek families and students a wonderful and
relaxing spring break!
The school office
will be closed next week (April 10 – 14). We also wanted to remind you
that Monday, April 17 is a student holiday.
Our 3rd Grade students did an amazing job bringing history to life at the Living Wax Museum this week!
Kindergarten Orientation - April 17
at 1:30
Kindergarten Orientation for students and families will be
held at our school on Monday, April 17, from 1:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. Our future
students will meet the Kindergarten teachers, the OCES staff, and other
Kindergarten families. You will learn about our Kindergarten day and have
many of your questions answered. Additionally, our office staff will be
available from 2:30 - 3:30 to collect paper work, answer questions about the
registration process, and set up registration appointments.
We look forward to seeing you on Monday, April 17. Feel free
to contact the school with any questions.
Bingo Night – April 21 at 7:00
The PTA is excited to invite your family to Bingo Night! A few volunteers
(concession workers and Bingo card sellers) are needed to support the event. If

Teacher Appreciation Week Volunteers
Please help us celebrate our amazing OCES staff for Teacher

Go Green Day – April 21
To celebrate
our Going Green efforts and Earth Day, we are asking all of our students and
staff to show their sprit by wearing green on Friday, April 21. Thank you for
all of your support this month!
No Trash Lunch Challenge
We
are celebrating Earth Day all month here at school. One of our goals is
to reduce our trash. Can you pack a lunch for your child that will
produce zero trash? Have your child work with you to choose foods that
he/she will eat, and containers that can be reused. Try it! Check out the
example below.
