Olde Creek Weekly
Update
Read Across America Week
What
an AMAZING week at our school! Read Across America week was full of excitement,
inspiration…and FUN that was all connected by literacy. The addition of the
Guest Readers this year was a big success. All of our guests, including Dr.
Lockard, the FCPS Interim Superintendent, had wonderful things to say about all
of our students and our school. A HUGE thank you goes to the staff members and
parent volunteers who made all of the events happen this week and from the tremendous
support we received from the community.

Be sure to
follow our school on Twitter. This is great way to stay current with what is
happening in our building and to see lots of photos of the exciting learning
adventures that our students are going on each day.
Olde Creek Vision and Mission Input
Later this
month, the staff at Olde Creek will begin the process of developing a new
vision and mission statement for our school. As a part of that process, it will
be important to have input from all of the key stakeholders that contribute to
our school’s success. We would love to have as much input from the community as
possible to the following statement….Please
describe a bright future for Olde Creek ES.
We will also be going through a similar process with all of our students
to gather their input. Everyone connected to our school is an important part of
this process! If you are interested, please take a few moments to provide your
input using the link below.
