Dear Stenwood Families:

We will be holding a Parent Information Session on Tuesday, January 31st at 8:45-9:30.  Ms. Vivienne Goldstein, our Public Health Nurse, will be teaching us everything we need to know about lice!  In addition, Ms. Beth Parton, our School-based Technology Specialist, will be covering a variety of topics to include Dreambox, Stenwood’s Twitter, and a few other technology resources that are helpful to parents.  Please plan to drop your children off for school on the 31st and join us.

If you have a child who was referred for consideration for the Advanced Academic Program, please mark your calendar for February 7th at 8:45-9:30 for our Local Level IV orientation session.  This meeting is mostly pertinent to parents of students who have been referred and might be found eligible for AAP Level IV services.  The eligibility letters are expected to be mailed around mid-April.

We had a great Geography Bee today!  (See some pictures below)  If you’re not on Twitter, please do sign up; that way, you can follow our wonderful activities as they occur during the school day.

Sincerely,
Principal Dammeyer
