Your contribution to the Foundation for FCPS will make a positive difference in the lives of FCPS students and their future.

We Focus on Student AND Teacher Success.

The Foundation for FCPS works alongside our teachers, principals and administrators to keep our diverse school system robust and innovative. Here are our three areas of focus:

Future Workforce: The Foundation supports STEM programs that encourage students in identifying future careers. Currently, our focus is cyber IT expansion into every high school, CyberPatriot clubs in middle schools and engineering and coding concepts in the elementary school curriculum.

Teacher and Employee Recognition: In partnership with the FCPS Human Resources department, we recognize excellence through a series of monthly employee celebrations in each of the five FCPS regions, and system wide through the annual FCPS Honors event in June.

Kids In Need: With over 50,000 students living below the poverty line in Fairfax County, the Foundation maintains a "Kids in Need" fund to supplement student needs that are not met through our extensive web of social service agencies, faith-based and non-profit organizations.
