Dear Stenwood Families,
I
recently had the opportunity to show off our school to my Dad. My 86 year old father came to our Veteran’s
breakfast celebration last week, and he really enjoyed meeting so many of
you. He was impressed with our talented
students (some third graders who sang, our SCA students, and our news production
crew) and he experienced firsthand the kindness of our staff and parent
community. He hears me sing the praises
of Stenwood so often, and he now understands more fully why I so cherish our
school. In truth, I was also showing off
my Dad because, he, too, is worthy of my pride and admiration. Family is everything, so I wish you a
wonderful Thanksgiving, and I hope you are able to relax and enjoy time with
your family and friends.
