We are down to the last week of our fundraiser! Please remember that this is our main fundraiser for the year. We will not host a Fun Run like we did in previous years. The money raised will fund the majority of our operating budget for the year and if we don't meet our goal we will have to cut back on a lot of the programs we had planned to fund for the school. The deadline for donations has been extended to Tuesday, October 11th. We have just one week left to raise the remaining $22,000 necessary to reach our goal, so we really need your help. NATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5TH
Join families across the country as Willow Springs celebrates Walk to School Day! Walk with your students to school and visit the welcome table behind the bus loop near the walking paths. Families and staff will gather at 8:45am to enjoy snacks and games. Or walk your kids to the bus stop and visit with your neighbors! Walking to school helps support healthy habits, build our community, promote safety and create a cleaner environment. Questions or to see how you can help, contact LauraBuice@gmail.com.

Join your students, teachers and many parents; come play some fun P.E. games and enjoy a treat out on of the field. Sign up to volunteer at:
Field Day is a fun morning or afternoon of outdoor activities and games that children rotate through. We need several volunteers to help setup and monitor the games. Please consider joining in the fun.
No experience or athletic ability needed. Detailed directions of the activities will be at each station and also available in the school lobby. Just be ready to play fun P.E. games with us!

AAP PARENT INFORMATION MEETING

9:30am-10:30am
Join us to hear Sandy Murray, our Advanced Academic Resource Teacher, provide information about AAP levels of service at Willow Springs. She will also explain and answer questions about the screening processes for part-time school based and full-time center services. The meeting is open to all K-6 parents.
If you have a child in grade 3-6 who entered FCPS during or after January 2016, you are welcome to refer your child for full-time Level IV services. The deadline for referring new students is October 6, 2016.
