Dear Stenwood Families:
Yesterday we celebrated our school’s wonderful diversity at our whole-school assembly. You may recall that we had our Multicultural Day in January when students dressed to represent their cultural heritage. We had planned to have a culminating celebration the end of January, however, the blizzard got in the way! We had great fun yesterday hearing from all of the classes about the importance of diversity. We enjoyed a slideshow and took pleasure in realizing the number of languages and countries that the students at Stenwood represent. Our whole-school assemblies are much like our individual classroom morning meetings, only on a larger scale. We value the time we get to gather together as a whole school to show school spirit and celebrate our awesome community!
