Family Fun Night, Fri., 2/26, 6:00 PM, Stenwood Cafeteria Bring your family and join your Stenwood Community for a fun night of dinner, Bingo, raffles, and a silent auction. ** PTA events are not drop-off events. All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.
Family Fun Night needs your gently-used toys Donate the toys and games your child no longer plays with for Family Fun Night prizes. What a great way to clean out your shelves and support your PTA at the same time! We will have a box in the Stenwood Office to accept your donations - just send them in with your students or bring them in yourself. Thank you!
Interested in Serving on your PTA Board next year? Contact your Nominating Committee, Ruby Loutfi, Elizabeth Masturzo-Baldeon, and Sheila Stewart, and learn more about how to serve your school.
Nominations are now open for The Super Teacher Awards, whereby eight Virginia public school teachers will be selected as the 2016 Super Teachers, winning $2,000 from the Virginia Lottery and $2,000 in classroom supplies from The Supply Room Companies, a lottery partner. Nominations must be received by Feb. 15. Click here to nominate a teacher or learn more. Note that a teacher has a better chance of winning if multiple parents nominate the same teacher. So if there is someone who you think really deserves to win, then think about teaming up with other parents to nominate a Super Teacher!
