This memo is to inform child day programs and family day systems that the Office of Background Investigations (OBI) with the Virginia Department of Social Services has announced that effective December 9, the current Central Registry Search (CRS) Provider Portal will undergo a major transformation. The OBI team distributed a memo to all CRS Provider Portal registered users on December 4, but this memo is being distributed to ensure that all child day programs known to VDOE have been informed of the planned changes. Please refer to the memo below from OBI.
