VDOE School Counselor Workshop: Virginia’s 3E Readiness Framework and K12 Pathways Alignment

Virginia school counselors are invited to join Dr. Lisa Coons, Virginia Superintendent of Public Instruction, and VDOE staff to learn more and provide feedback to inform ongoing work among K12, postsecondary, and workforce systems to support 3E (Employment, Enlistment, and Enrollment) outcomes for Virginia students prior to graduation. Topics will include an overview of the 3E Readiness Framework, the College Career Ready Virginia program (HB1087), K12 career exploration, academic career plan, and work-based learning opportunities.

This workshop will take place on Thursday, October 10, 10 a.m.-noon at the Achievable Dream Middle & High School located at 5720 Marshall Avenue, Newport News, VA 23605
