ONE WEEK LEFT to take the Virginia Child Care Provider Survey
The VDOE is partnering with the Study of Early Education through Partnerships at the University of Virginia on the Virginia Child Care Provider Survey. If you lead a child care center or family day home, we want to learn from you about how to better support providers.
All respondents will receive a $30 gift card after completing the survey – and be entered into a raffle to win $100! There is less than one week left to take the survey before it closes on Monday, November 27.
Our partners have sent emails with your survey invitation (from noreply@surveys.virginia.edu). You can take the survey online in English or Spanish. This survey is voluntary and confidential. Please see the FAQ with any questions, or contact our partners at see-partnerships@virginia.edu or 434-297-6882.
Upcoming Changes to Child Care Subsidy Vendor Application Process + Changes Notices for Existing Vendors
At the end of November, VDOE and VDSS are jointly rolling out a new system to accept applications for prospective vendors in the Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP) and for existing vendors to notify the subsidy team of changes to their program operations. Additional resources—including a system user guide and one-pagers—will be available next week via the Readiness Connections newsletter, email notices, and ChildCareVA.
VDOE and VDSS will continue to accept applications and change notices via email and USPS through the month of December while transitioning to the new system.
