Every interested provider must apply, even if you have received grant funding before.
The Child Care Stabilization Grant Program offers resources to eligible child care programs to help address challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Virginia’s program aims to help stabilize operations now, address challenges recruiting and retaining qualified staff, make strategic investments in your programs, and encourage participation in the Child Care Subsidy Program.
You are eligible to apply if you:
- Are an approved Child Care Subsidy Program vendor; or
- Were licensed, regulated, registered, or permitted by the state or an applicable locality by March 11, 2021.
Eligible providers will receive up to three payments on a quarterly basis to cover a 9-month period, with payments beginning in November 2021. You must submit an application by November 30 in order to receive all three grant payments.
Please visit www.doe.virginia.gov/childcaregrants for information regarding grant program eligibility, rules, and how to apply. This site will be updated with new resources regularly.
