ORP Retiree and LTD Health Enrollment Reminder
As a reminder, agency Benefits Administrators are responsible for entering ORP retiree and LTD participant health enrollment elections in Cardinal. This process did not change with the transition from BES to Cardinal.
Please note that the Virginia Retirement System (VRS) does not process ORP retiree or LTD participant health enrollment elections in Cardinal. This responsibility rests solely with the member’s pre-retirement agency. Also, VRS does not have access to view the ORP records in Cardinal.
For detailed guidance on completing enrollment entries, please consult the ORP Retiree Guide. Should additional assistance be required, please submit a ticket to VCCC.
