Revised Executive Leave Policy Update
The Executive Leave Policy for political appointees has been revised as of February 18, 2025 and can be found here. The revised language clarifies that when an appointee leaves an appointed position, they are able to receive a leave payout up to 80 hours, whether they go to a classified state position or to private industry.
Please distribute this policy to your agency's political appointees. Appointees are not required to sign a policy receipt for this new version.
