Americans with Disabilities Act – Title II - Webinar

Civil Rights Enforcement Coordinator, Steve Gordon, at the U.S. Department of Justice, has alerted us to ongoing ADA-Title II - related webinars being offered monthly. The webinars are conducted through Zoom at no cost to agencies.

These webinars enhance our awareness of compliance issues which are scrutinized by DOJ and present best practices that ensure compliance. While generally focused on Title II of the ADA, such practices may be applicable to other aspects of compliance with Title I of the ADA, also.

A webinar being offered on August 22, is entitled “Effective Communication in Healthcare Settings” and will focus on information healthcare providers need to know. It will also offer tips for interacting with the general public, regardless of the setting.
