Good news – Mid-Atlantic Women's Care will remain in the Anthem Network
Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield have reached a new agreement that went into effect August 1, 2023. For members covered under COVA Care and COVA HDHP, this agreement allows Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care to remain in-network.
If a member has already moved to a new doctor or hospital, they may stay with their new doctor or switch back to Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care.

Health Benefits Administration - Active Employee Health Benefits
Benefits Administrator Training-Health Benefits Administration (Virtual). This three hour virtual course is designed for agency human resources professionals, health Benefit Administrators and payroll employees whose job responsibilities require knowledge of the state's health benefits programs for active employees.
The course provides an introduction and review of the policies and procedures for the Active Employee State Health Benefits Program and the Flexible Benefits Program.
Dates: August 30 and 31, 2023
