Comings and Goings...
DHRM welcomes Angie Jenkins who will be taking over as a full-time hearing officer for Employment Dispute Resolution. She has been with the EDR team since June and will receive case appointments in the near future. Angie has an extensive legal career, including serving in state agencies for the last 15 years, bringing a wealth of experience to this role.
DHRM congratulates Carl Schmidt, Employment Dispute Resolution's full-time hearing officer, who will be retiring at the end of July. Carl has been a mainstay of grievance hearings for decades. He was hired by EDR as one of the first full-time hearing officers in 2000 and has since presided over thousands of grievance hearings. We thank Carl for his years of service and wish him well in retirement from full-time state service.
Kudos to Maddie Gray (“MG”) Kopjanski who is Employment Dispute Resolution’s newest team member, joining the team at the end of June. Her role is to work with Cory Stufflebeem on EDR’s workplace conflict services, such as mediation, coaching, consultations, and training. Please refer to EDR's website for further information about our services, or contact us by email or phone (804) 786-7994 any time.
