A Message from the Director
An Excellent Talent Pool for the Asking
Are you interested in having access to a highly qualified talent pool for your agency? Look no further – participate as an agency mentor in the Virginia Management Fellows (VMF) program!
The VMF program supports emerging leaders with the desire to serve the people of the Commonwealth and a willingness to commit to a two year fellowship of state-level service and learning. The Fellows work at three state agencies under the support and guidance of a mentor for their 8-month rotations.
DHRM is pleased to support this program, an initiative developed in partnership with Virginia Tech to meet the state’s needs for future leaders. Our agency mentors consistently share how much they love working with the Fellows and having access to such a dedicated group. Comings and Goings...
Finance and Administration: Please welcome Arthur Vandenesse, our new Senior Procurement Specialist, to the DHRM team! Arthur comes to our agency with a wealth of knowledge about Procurement. He is a certified Virginia Contracting Associate and holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Procurement and Contract Management. With his considerable experience in both Virginia state government and private industry, Arthur will be a valuable addition to the staff and we are glad to have him aboard!
