Dear State Employees:
Every day, Commonwealth of Virginia employees make a powerful impact in communities across the state. I am always impressed by the commitment and diligence of our state workers. Providing effective, efficient, high-quality state services to our citizens requires a dedicated, hard-working, professional workforce, and I am proud of our state workforce.
In that spirit, I am proud to announce the recipients of the Governor's Honor Awards presented today at the Executive Mansion. Your fellow state employees were recognized for demonstrating exemplary service and commitment to the Commonwealth.
The award categories this year recognize employees for their leadership, innovative spirit, and more.
I am honored to recognize these outstanding employees who have gone above and beyond in their accomplishments, contributions, and dedicated state government service to make the Commonwealth a great place to live and work.
I also want to express appreciation to the Virginia Credit Union, which has been the Commonwealth’s valued partner for these awards for more than 20 years.
Above all, I want to give my thanks to each of you for your service to the citizens of this great Commonwealth. For a full list of honorees and awards, click here.
Sincerely,
Ralph S. Northam
