Message from the Director
Fall Back into Healthy Behaviors
As our days are getting shorter with less sunlight, let’s not overlook the impact this can have on our workforce. Sunlight and the ability to get outdoors often brings with it both mental and physical benefits. As we roll into the winter months, both access to sunlight and our time outdoors can begin to decrease.
Take time to think about the messages and programs you can bring to your workforce to encourage a focus on healthy behaviors. Whether it is a quick stretch break, brisk walk around the block or the worksite or a team challenge, these little efforts can reap big rewards. When you turn back your clock this coming weekend on November 1, let that action be a friendly reminder that our health is our greatest wealth.

The Pay and Holiday Calendar for 2021 has been updated. Since June 19 falls on a Saturday in 2021, it will be observed on Friday, June 18.
