Action Required! Use Updated GL Journal Spreadsheet Upload Excel Template

This communication is being sent to GL Journal Processors and Approvers at Cardinal Financials Agencies.

As part of the Cardinal system upgrade, an updated GL Journal Spreadsheet Upload Excel Template and associated XLAM Macro File are now required for all Spreadsheet Journal Imports. This new template replaces both the former statewide template and the VDOT-specific template.

Action Required

1. Delete Old Files: Remove all legacy journal templates and macro files from your workstation. Using older versions will cause processing failures. The log will indicate the file as “staged” but a journal entry will not be successfully created.

2. Download New Files: Download these two files by clicking the buttons below and place them in your Documents folder.

Note: You no longer need to rename either file after downloading.
