Cardinal Upgrade: New Human Resources Navigation & Page Changes

This communication is being sent to all HR Administrators and HR Read-Only users at Cardinal HCM agencies.
On September 8, 2026, the Cardinal system is getting an upgrade that introduces a new way to access key Human Resources functions and updates the layout and navigation in Cardinal.
New! Manage Human Resources Tile
A new Manage Human Resources tile will be available on the HCM homepage. This tile provides a centralized hub for accessing core HR pages, replacing previous NavBar navigation.
Key Changes to Human Resources Pages
The Job Data (renamed Manage Job) and Personal Data pages have been redesigned with a streamlined, single-page layout. Information is consolidated, eliminating the multiple tabs across the top.
HR Administrators: Manage Job also introduces a new Job Action Summary page and a Create Job Action button, which replaces the former “Add Row” button when entering a new job action.
HR Read-only users will also have access to the new Job Action Summary page.

The HR Quick Reference Guide summarizes the navigational changes and page enhancements. This guide is recommended to help you efficiently locate and navigate the new layout.
