Important Deadlines
For HR Administrators using Cardinal Payroll, be aware the data change freeze for the pay periods ending 09/09/2026 and 09/15/2026 is 5:00 p.m., Friday, September 4.
For Fiscal Officers/staff, the fiscal month close for August will occur at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4. This deadline will not be extended.
For all Core Users, save Your Favorites and Homepage Personalizations before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4.
Screenshot Your Favorites & Homepage
As part of the upgrade, Cardinal will transition to a modern navigation experience. As a result, existing homepage personalizations and favorites will not carry over to the upgraded system.
If you would like to save a record of your current setup, we recommend you take screenshots before the system outage on Friday, September 4 at 5:00 p.m.:

Financials Users: Screenshot your “My Favorites” and your Homepage layout.

HCM Users: Screenshot your NavBar: Favorites and your Homepage layout.
Note: Existing favorite queries and Run Control IDs will remain intact. No action is required for these items.
Following the upgrade, you will be able to add available pages back to your favorites and personalize your homepage(s) based on your needs. Use the NAV200 Navigation Tips in Cardinal Financials and NAV205 Navigation Tips in Cardinal HCM job aids for detailed instructions on creating and updating favorites and homepage content.
