The Cardinal Financials and Human Capital Management (HCM) applications, including Employee Self-Service (ESS), will be unavailable to all users from Saturday, March 1 at 6:00 a.m. through Monday, March 3, at approximately 6:00 a.m. due to technical upgrades.
General Impacts

System Access: All Cardinal applications (Financials and HCM) will be unavailable during this time.

Action Required: Plan accordingly to enter timesheets, review/print a paystub, or take other Cardinal actions keeping the outage window in mind.
Interface Impacts

Standard batch processing will run on Friday night, February 28. Interfacing agencies can continue to place upload files and retrieve extract files during this outage. Batch processing will resume on Monday, March 3.

The primary purpose of this technical upgrade is to ensure Cardinal maintains vendor support and remains current with critical updates and security alerts. While this upgrade primarily focuses on technical improvements, users will notice some slight navigation and display changes. These changes will be communicated in a later email. |

System Changes: A separate email outlining specific system changes will be sent to this user group on Wednesday, February 26.
