This communication is being sent to all HR Administrators of Cardinal HCM agencies |
|
Cardinal is excited to announce significant enhancements to both the Employee Turnover Analysis report (RHR422) and the Job Data Query (V_HR_JOB_QUERY) aimed at better meeting agency HR reporting requirements. |
|
Employee Turnover Analysis Report (RHR422)
The Employee Turnover Analysis report now includes new Run Control parameter options:
-
Department Detail checkbox
-
Report Level options – Detail and Summary levels
|
|
Department Detail Checkbox
Utilize the Department Detail checkbox when running the report at the Summary report level to gain insight into employee turnover statistics by department. If department-level summary statistics are unnecessary, simply leave this checkbox unchecked to generate agencywide summary statistics only.
New Detail Report Level
The new Detail report level of the Employee Turnover Analysis report provides a comprehensive list of impacted employees, offering transparency into the generation of the summary report statistics. Key details included in the report are:
- Job Code
- Employee Class
- Years of Service
- Department Data
- Position Vacate Date
Note: The Position Vacate Date, now incorporated into the Detail report level of the Employee Turnover Analysis report, has been excluded from the Position Data Query (V_HR_POSITION_DATA) due to inconsistencies in the data stemming from the “as-of” date parameters.

Job Data Query (V_HR_JOB_DATA)
The Job Data Query (V_HR_JOB_QUERY) has been enhanced to better assist agencies with validating VRS and Health Benefit deductions within Job Data. The update adds the following fields into query results:
- Job Code Description
- VRS Plan (Elig Config 1)
- Benefit Plan (Elig Config 2)
- Time Entry (Elig Config 3)
- VRS Bill Code (Elig Config 6)
- Health Premium Bill Code (Elig Config 9)
