Art Chocolatada y Paneton with Sarah Manrique Chiriboga
Thurs, Dec 18 | 5:30-7p | Studio PAUSE | 5:30 PM 7:00 PM
Barcroft Apartments resident Sarah Manrique Chiriboga was inspired by the recent “Poetry and Tea” event with Ruben Sira, and both of their works are featured in the current exhibit, Hope Without Boundaries (thru Dec 15). As it was her first oil pastel artwork, Sarah wanted to share art from her native Peru and combine it with their tradition of having hot chocolate with Paneton, a special Peruvian version of a fruit cake eaten during the Christmas season. Join Studio PAUSE for their last event of the year, make art, and enjoy a beloved Peruvian experience from Sarah’s childhood. More
