Election Day in Arlington
The Democratic Primary Election is on June 17, 2025. Early Voting is open until June 14 at three locations (hours vary based on location). On Election Day, all Arlington polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. You must vote at your assigned polling place on Election Day.
Your Voice Matters
The County is updating its Comprehensive Plan, and we need your help to ensure the process is inclusive, equitable, and representative. We want to hear your thoughts on what’s working well and where there are challenges in the County.

Army 250th Birthday Events
All events for the United States Army’s 250th Birthday Festival and Parade will take place in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, June 14, 2025. The Arlington County Police Department will deploy increased police resources in the County to ensure public safety.
"Super" Summer Reading List
Arlington Public Library wants everyone to become a "super reader" this summer. Readers of all ages can register to complete the Summer Reading Challenge and earn prizes all summer long. And yes, audiobooks count.
