A difficult decision-making process lies ahead for Arlington as the County looks to balance revenue and expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year.

• Only a few hours left to weigh in on a proposed plan for Clarendon Square. Review the project and share your thoughts before Dec. 20.
  
  
• Arlington wants your thoughts on a plan for safety improvements at the S Glebe Road and 9th Street S intersection. The input deadline is Dec. 22. 

• Good news for green drivers. Arlington is increasing the number of EV charging stations it offers to the public. 
  
  
• Applications for all APS Option Schools, programs, and transfers are now open. Interested families must apply by Jan. 24. 
  
  
• The County is now accepting applications for the Stormwater Utility credit program. All property owners in Arlington can apply for voluntary credits. 
  
  
• Gateway Park plans are moving forward. The County Board voted to adopt the plan to revitalize Gateway Park in Rosslyn.
    
• After 19 years, the DC Circulator officially shuts down service on Dec. 31. 
  
  
• New speed safety cameras will be installed in Arlington school zones in 2025.  
  
  
• The Central Library parking garage will be closed to the public for several months as crews make structural repairs.
